AuthorAmisCookingCategory

Modak is an Indian sweet typically made on Ganesh Chaturthi which is Lord Ganesha’s birthday. In the state of Maharashtra, traditional Modak is known as ‘Ukadiche Modak’ and it is made from rice flour and coconut-Jaggery stuffing. Nowadays, Modak is made from all kinds of things like milk, chocolate, flour, etc. Here, I have made an instant version of Mawa Modak made from fresh cream and milk powder. The stuffing includes coconut and nuts to give it an extra richness.
