Corn and Peppers Pulao

Corn and Peppers Pulao is made with little spices to enhance the natural ingredients used in this recipe. It can be made quickly which makes it versatile for lunch, dinner, and tiffins.  2 cups basmati rice
 2 fresh corns
 colorful peppers
 2 small onions
 1 tbsp oil
 2 tbsp butter
 1 tsp cumin
 1 bay leaf
 1 tsp peppers
 ¼ tsp asafoetida
 ½ tsp turmeric
 green chili to taste
 salt to taste
 crushed peppers

Wash 2 cups basmati rice 3 times. Let it soak for 20 minutes.

Take 2 fresh corns. Remove corn from stalk. Roughly chop colorful peppers. Chop 2 small onions roughly.

Turn the stove onto medium heat. Add 1 tbsp oil. Then, take 2 tbsp butter. Add 1 tsp cumin, 1 bay leaf, and 1 tsp peppers. Saute for 1 minute.

Add 1/4 tsp asafoetida and 1/2 tsp turmeric. Add chopped onions. Stir well. Add green chili to taste and stir well.

Add chopped peppers stir well. Then, add corn and stir well. Add salt to taste and mix well. Add crushed peppers and stir well.

Add 3 cups water. Add soaked rice. Stir well. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.

Open the lid. Stir well. Cover and let it cook for 7-8 minutes. Pulao is ready to serve. Sprinkle crushed red peppers on top.
